Chuy’s Christmas Parade @ Congress Avenue, Downtown Austin
This spirited holiday parade features a procession of giant balloons, marching bands, vintage cars, celebrities and floats to usher in the season of giving.

Austin Steam Train @ Cedar Park Rail Yard
Ride a restored steam train on a 2.5 hour North Pole themed excursion. Each car is decorated for the season where passengers enjoy a live reading of the North Pole Flyer book-our railroad’s own Christmas Story! Unfortunately this is likely sold out already. Tickets go on sale in January, so if it’s sold out this year, mark your calendar for January to book a 2017 ride.

Armadillo Christmas Bazaar @Palmer Events Center
11 day upscale shopping destination featuring national and local award-winning artists, with live music and two full bars in a festive, lively atmosphere. This annual tradition and cultural icon is one of Austin’s longest running art and music festivals attracting around 40,000 shoppers each year.
