Where to view Fireworks

You know it’s the peak of summer when you are sitting under the night skies listening to patriotic music while kicking back in a lawn chair with the family. Watching fireworks is a family fun adventure that most Americans look forward to every year.

If you are looking for places to enjoy the show this fourth of July, here is a list you might find handy.

Cedar Park 
4th of July Celebration
The day of festivities kicks off with a patriotic Parade starting at 10 a.m. The parade route will be along Discovery Blvd from H-E-B Center to the Recreation Center. (map)

The fun will continue that evening starting at 4 pm at Elizabeth Milburn Park, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd. The event will feature live music, bingo, a washer tournament, air castles, free watermelon and a fireworks display. Fees apply for food concessions, face painting, and carnival games and rides. You may also cool off in Milburn Pool, which is open from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.! (Daily admission rates apply.) Fireworks will be shortly after dark!

H-E-B Austin Symphony 39th annual July 4th Concert and Fireworks
This spectacular show and an Austin traditionis planned, produced, and performed entirely by the Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO). The ASO will perform at 8:30 p.m., followed by “mile-high” fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Location: Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) in downtown Austin.

Leander Liberty Fest
This FREE, family-friendly event is perfect for the whole family with live music, food and craft vendors, children’s activities and a spectacular fireworks display. Fireworks will be launched from the Capital Metro Leander Station. *Capital Metro Leander Station will be closed July 4th.
4:30 p.m. – Gates open
5-10 p.m. – Activities and vendors
6-10 p.m. – Live music
9-10 p.m. – Fireworks by Pyrotecnico

Sertoma’s 30th Annual 4th of July
You won’t want to miss this awesome free family event! Come celebrate American Independence at beautiful San Gabriel Park sponsored by Georgetown Sertoma. It’s the perfect shady location for 4th of July outdoor activities including 60 Arts and Craft booths, 20 Food vendors, Kiddie Rides, Bounce Houses and Games along with a Petting Zoo. It ends with a spectacular fireworks finale.

Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival
The Pfun begins at The Pfield at 1440 W Pecan in Pflugerville. Schedule of Events include concerts, food trucks and fireworks starting at 5pm. PFREE admission! Pfireworks Show will start at dark, approximately 9:15 p.m. followed by an After Show Concert around 9:45 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Check website for parking and safety instructions.

Round Rock
July 4th Frontier Days Celebration
A parade, fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, Movies in the Park and skydivers are all part of the City of Round Rock’s July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration. This event is free for the entire family. Independence Day festivities will begin with free watermelon at the Lakeview Pavilion in Old Settlers Park and include music from the Austin Symphonic Band. The event also features a pepper eating contest, vendor booths, Sertoma Rubber Duck Races and full-scale carnival rides! Your family will also enjoy the Swifty Swine Pig Races. The parade begins at 10am on Main Street and Frontier Days begins at Old Settlers Park starting at 12 noon. Fiereworks begin at dark at Old Settlers Park.
