Before and After

Selling a home takes more than sticking a sign in the yard and adding the listing to the MLS. If you want to get top dollar for your home, you need to look at it first through the eyes of a buyer. What would you really think of your home if you were seeing it for the first time? Would it impress you as a buyer as it is now? Would it photograph well? Would you be enticed by the pictures to come see it in person?

I enjoy helping sellers though this pre-listing process. They are often amazed what a little elbow grease and a few small home improvement investments can make to their home. And buyers definitely notice! If also priced right, my listings sell fast!

Finding that sweet spot in the market market takes experience, market knowledge and skill. It’s not enough to just make the home look good, you also have to price it right. Agents and serious buyers know the market and most people don’t want to “lowball” a new listing or pay more than it’s worth.

How to Price a Home for Sale

Here are some before and after pictures. You may not think much of the before pictures, but when compared to the after, you can really see the difference.
