Here are some of our most popular posts to help you get to know the area.

๐Ÿก North Austin Suburbs ๐Ÿกย

We serve the entire Austin metro area and specialize in the North Austin Suburbs. Our Home Search Site – NorthAustinSuburbs.com – has access to all homes for sale and more detailed info on each suburb. We can help you narrow down which suburb and location is right for you. After an in-depth get to know you session and working closely together to better understand your needs and wants, budget, goals and future plans, we can give you all the information you need to make the best decision for you and your family. Traffic here can be an issue if you are having to cross the metro. So, living as close to work as possible will save you a lot of car time.

Cities in the North Austin Suburbs include:

Cedar Park – Home to Scheel’s and everything you need right here at home. The closest suburb to Austin along HWY 183, Cedar Park is perfectly positioned to access major commuter routes and the Austin Metro Rail Line located at Lakeline Station. Home prices tend to be slightly more expensive than surrounding suburbs due to the desirability of the City. Cedar Park is nearly built out so neighborhoods are more established. The City of Cedar Park has done a great job preserving greenspaces and creating parkland for residents to enjoy. There is also an extensive trail system for biking and hiking and two large lakes for fishing and kayaking. Primarily served by Leander School district and a pocket of Round Rock schools in the Brushy Creek area. Cedar Park

Leander – Leander is just past Cedar Park on HWY183. There has been a lot of new construction in recent years, so there are more choices for newer construction. Leander is still growing too, so there are still more neighborhoods and commercial developments coming soon. There is also a large part of Leander that is still very rural off Namelesss Road, so if you are looking for some land and space, there are still options. Leander also has some nice parks and good access to shopping and dining. Served by Leander school district.

Liberty Hill – Liberty Hill is just past Leander on HWY 183. With a recent toll road expansion from Cedar Park, through Leander to Liberty Hill, commuting has become a breeze. If your job is in Cedar Park, it’s an easy drive. But if you have a family member who has to go to downtown Austin, it would be a long commute. There are many new neighborhoods in Liberty Hill and more on the horizon. Liberty Hill tends to be more affordable than Cedar Park. There is also a Costco and Target under construction and a brand new HEB shopping center. Served by Liberty Hill and Georgetown school districts.

Round Rock – This well established suburb is just north of Austin along I35 and borders Cedar Park to the east in the Brushy Creek area. Round Rock has a cute historic downtown with many restaurants, bars and shopping. The lively nightlife scene is fun for a night out. The Brushy Creek area of Round Rock is adjacent to Cedar Park. Some neighborhoods like Ranch at Brushy Creek are served by both school districts, so when looking at homes, be aware of that. Round Rock is very big, so there is pretty much any housing option you need in any price range.

Georgetown – Georgetown is the County Seat for Williamson County. What used to be a sleepy town geared towards seniors has recently boomed in the last 10 years with new neighborhoods and many new businesses. Fun for all ages, the historic downtown of Georgetown is so cute with a lively restaurant and shopping scene. They also have many events and festivals on the square and it’s a beautiful place to spend the day during the holidays. Georgetown also has an extensive parks system and lots of natural beauty with rivers and a large lake reservoir.

Pflugerville – Pflugerville is located just north and adjacent to Austin, connected to Round Rock and Hutto to the north. When SH 130 Toll Road expansion was done, it opened up Pflugerville to massive development with many new neighborhoods. An easy commute to Cedar Park from the SH 45 Toll Road, Pflugerville offers more affordable housing options, but the tradeoff is the commute. Served by Pflugerville ISD.

Hutto – Hutto is located jut north of Pflugerville and east of Round Rock and south of Georgetown. This city is in the midst of rapid expansion thanks to the SH 130 Toll Road passing through and the new massive Samsung Plant currently being built in Taylor to the NE of Hutto. Homes tend to be more affordable in Hutto. It would be the longest commute to Cedar Park of all the suburbs, but can be done in about 25 minutes via Toll Roads. Served by Hutto ISD.

Taylor – Taylor is an older town with a cute historic downtown. Generally not considered an Austin suburb because of distance, but witht he expansion of toll roads and the new Samsun Plant attracting workers, it has merged into Austin.

Jonestown – Jonestown is a very small town between Cedar Park and Lago Vista along 1431. Slow down when you pass by, it’s a well known speed trap. Jonestown has become a destination as the suburbs grow with a couple fun spots for dining and entertainment. As the lake fills and empties, Jones Brothers park is sometimes on the lake and sometimes not. Primarily served by Leander school district.

Lago Vista – Located on the north shores of Lake Travis and the beautiful Hill Country, Lago Vista was originally a retirement community and second home attraction for those seeking the quiet lake life far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Since the suburbs have spread north in recent years, new developments have been built and vacant lots have been developed sith new homes. Homes range from 1970’s rustic cabins to multi-million dollar lake view homes. Served by Lago Vista school district.

Lakeway – Lakeway is a scenic area of Austin located along the south shores of Lake Travis. Priced for custom homes with lake views, it tends to be the priciest area of the north Austin suburbs. Served by Lake Travis school district.
