The new Cross Creek neighborhood is one of Cedar Park’s newly developing areas located off C-Bar Ranch, across from the 1890 Ranch Shopping area off 1431 (Whitestone Blvd). on the same side of Whitestone as the recently developed Cross Creek Market shopping areas with HopDoddy, The Grove, First Watch and Woodhouse Day Spa among others. One of Cedar Park’s newest luxury apartment homes are also in this area at The Alden.
In the works for quite some time, they have now finally broken ground. The first homes are available on pre-sale from Brohn Homes starting in the mid $300,000’s.
The cleared area at the bottom of this image is where the development is going. I am unsure if C-Bar Ranch will eventually connect to N Lynwood Ave in the Forest Oaks neighborhood. Back in 2015 when the development was first floated to the City for approval, the Forest Oaks HOA and residents had some issues with the development, that have obviously since been worked out. Many residents of Forest Oaks were concerned with the creek and traffic, as discussed in this Community Impact article in 2015. With increasing growth in Cedar Park and limited land available to build, we are seeing the last bits of development squeezed in where they can and likely with increasing pushback from residents.
This is a prime Cedar Park location close to the 183A Toll road, easy access to Parmer Lane and 1431 to Round Rock and I35. The area also features Cedar Park’s newest shopping districts such as 1890 Ranch and The Parke. It’s also close to Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and the HEB Center.
Not to be confused with a small older neighborhood in Cedar Park at 1431 and New Hope also called Cross Creek. The new Cross Creek Ranch is the official name in development for this new neighborhood, although the Brohn Website and the first listing in MLS only says Cross Creek.
Cross Creek Ranch is in the highly-rated Leander School District. Homes will likely be zoned to these schools, but buyers should verify before purchasing. Cox Elementary School, Henry Middle School and Vista Ridge High School.
Homes in this neighborhood will go fast given the mid level price range, being a brand new home and an excellent location.
