You know it’s the peak of summer when you are sitting under the night skies listening to patriotic music while kicking back in a lawn chair with the family. Watching fireworks is a family fun adventure that most Americans look forward to every year.

Cedar Park 
4th of July Celebration
The day of festivities kicks off with a patriotic Parade starting at 10 a.m. The parade route will be along Discovery Blvd from H-E-B Center to the Recreation Center. (map)

The fun will continue that evening starting at 5 pm at Elizabeth Milburn Park, 1901 Sun Chase Blvd. The event will feature live music, bingo, a washer tournament (4pm), air castles, free watermelon and a fireworks display. Fees apply for food concessions, face painting, and carnival games and rides. You may also cool off in Milburn Pool, which is open from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m.! (Daily admission rates apply.) Fireworks will be shortly after dark!

H-E-B Austin Symphony 41st annual July 4th Concert and Fireworks
This spectacular show and an Austin tradition the H-E-B Austin Symphony 41st Annual July 4th Concert and Fireworks is planned, produced, and performed entirely by the Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO), with the help of its generous sponsors. The ASO will perform at 8:30 p.m., followed by “mile-high” fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m. For those who can’t attend, but wish to hear the concert while the fireworks are going off, tune in to Majic 95.5 FM. The event is free and open to the public. Located at Vic Mathias Shores (formerly Auditorium Shores) in downtown Austin.

Leander Liberty Fest
This FREE, family-friendly event, on July 4th from 3-10pm, is perfect for the whole family with live music, food and craft vendors, children’s activities and a spectacular fireworks display. Fireworks will be launched from the Capital Metro Leander Station. *Capital Metro Leander Station will be closed July 4th.

Sertoma’s 30th Annual 4th of July
On Wednesday July 4th 2018, you won’t want to miss this awesome free family event! Come celebrate American Independence at beautiful San Gabriel Park sponsored by Georgetown Sertoma! It’s the perfect shady location for 4th of July outdoor activities including 60 Arts and Craft booths, 20 Food vendors, Kiddie Rides, Bounce Houses and Games along with a Petting Zoo. It ends with a spectacular fireworks finale. 11am to 10pm.

Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival
The Pfun begins at The Pfield at 1440 W Pecan in Pflugerville. Schedule of Events include concerts, food trucks and fireworks starting at 5pm. PFREE admission! Pfireworks and Pfun! Check website for details, parking and safety instructions.

Round Rock
July 4th Frontier Days Celebration
Round Rock Sertoma 2018 July Fourth Parade is going to be bigger than ever with giant helium inflatables, marching bands and more! The parade features a new 1.5 mile route on Mays Street, between Mays Crossing and Highway 79. The event also features fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine Pig Races, children’s games, Sam Bass Shootout, Movies in the Park are all part of the City of Round Rock’s July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration. This event is FREE for the entire family. Movies in the Park will feature the family movie StarWars: The Last Jedi.  Independence Day festivities will begin with music from the Austin Symphonic Band. The event also features a pepper eating contest, vendor booths and full-scale carnival rides! Your family will also enjoy the Swifty Swine Pig Races.
