Cedar Park Bike Trail

The Brushy Creek Regional Bike Trail is a beautiful Cedar Park Bike Trail that traverses 7 miles through Cedar Park from the Twin Lakes YMCA all the way to Hairy Man Road. The trail passes through several City parks including Brushy Creek Sports Park and Champion Park following the scenic Brushy Creek. There are also plans to extend beyond Hairy Man Road to make the trail a total of 10 miles end to end.

Brushy Creek Regional TrailThere are many parking areas along the Cedar Park Bike Trail where you can park and ride segments of the trail. Parking at Twin Creeks YMCA you can ride to the parking area under 183A and back, which would be 1 mile round trip. If you park at the 183A parking area you can take the 1.5-mile ride to Brushy Creek Sports Park where there are amenities such as a Skate Park, a 9-hole Disc Golf course, baseball, and soccer fields.

IMG_0039Further along the Cedar Park Bike Trail, you will pass under Parmer Blvd and enter Brushy Creek Lake Park. This is a scenic park with a tranquil lake, playgrounds, a splash pad, a sandbox, and a secret maze garden. The Mobile Kayak is a seasonal paddle board and kayak rental company at Brushy Creek Lake.

Traveling further down the trail you will reach Champion Park which offers a shade canopy-covered dino dig park, another small splash pad, and open fields great for flying kites or model airplanes. Completing the 7-mile ride, you will pass Olsen Meadows and Creekside Park.

All of the parks have restrooms, picnic tables, and other amenities. Brushy Creek Trail and all of the parks along the trail are a Cedar Park Treasure. Get out and enjoy all of these well-maintained, beautiful facilities today!
