With cooler weather upon us, it’s time to get out and take advantage of all the wonderful patio dining restaurants around Cedar Park and North Austin. Patio dining season is here!
Enjoy some of the OG’s around town and also check out the many new spots that have pooped up in the last couple years. Restauranteurs and developers have listened and added even more outdoor dining to the area. Gather with friends for happy hour, get out of the house on the weekends with the family to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner outdoors or take your laptop for lunch and some fresh air. There are so many reasons to take advantage of cooler weather in Central Texas and support out local restaurants.

This local favorite just moved to a new location in the same area and opened a large new space with a beautiful covered patio.
Blue Corn Harvest Bar and Grill
700 E Whitestone Blvd #204 in Cedar Park
This is one of the favorite locally owned restaurants for patio dining in Cedar Park. The casual dining atmosphere under their tree-covered patio is the perfect place to kick back and relax on a nice evening. They also offer a delicious Southwestern menu with options for all dietary preferences.

2005 Little Elm Trail Building A – Suite 100 in Cedar Park
This Lago Vista favorite is now open in Cedar Park in a new retail development chocked full of amazing new restaurants, many with patio dining! Known for their smash burgers with unique toppings, it’s the kind of place that feeds your cravings. They also have crispy saucy wings, chicken sandwiches, salads and an affordable kids menu. There are plenty of giant TV’s for sports watching too.

Another new breakfast spot in Cedar Park located in the new “restaurant row” development on Little Elm in Cedar Park. Other restaurant neighbors in the center include Aleida’s Latin Food, Ho’s Kitchen, Burger Bar, Freshli Grill and old favorites such as Top Spin, Sunset Grill and Summer Moon. Cedar Park Cafe serves traditional breakfast fare and hearty lunch options. It’s the perfect place to meet for a breakfast meeting as they can accommodate larger groups on the patio. Call up some friends and make a date for a get together while the weather is calling us to the patio.
Field House at The Crossover

Food trucks, pickleball, cornhole, fire pits, outdoor movies, live music, sand volleyball and a huge bar and covered patio, this is how you get the most of the Texas outdoors. Even hot weather doesn’t stop the fun at The Field House. Plan ahead and Reserve a Court for pickleball, volleyball or cornhole. Check their website for year round Events, some may be ticketed.
2500 W New Hope Dr in Cedar Park
With a covered beer pavilion, food trucks, picnic tables under the tall oaks, and plenty of seating, this is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy some good beer, food, and company and enjoy some nice weather. There are also lawn games and a small playground so you can even bring the kids and still be able to enjoy a conversation with friends while they play.
Grove Wine Bar & Kitchen

If you’re looking for someplace more upscale to enjoy a glass of wine with friends, this is the place for you! The patio is under tall oaks with string lights and a wood patio creating for a beautiful ambiance, On a nice weather evening, you will be transported out of the usual strip mall patio experience and into a cozy and inviting ambiance. The menu offers a variety of options to choose from, including several types of salads and pizzas, as well as steaks, seafood dishes, and more. They also have a nice variety of hearty appetizer dishes that make it fun to share with friends.

New on the Cedar Park restaurant scene, this locally owned Vietnamese restaurant has a nice covered patio seating area. Picture a chilly day with a giant bowl of hot pho soup on the patio.

Jack Allen’s Kitchen is all about fresh and local. The patio is covered and enclosed in the winter months and open air when the weather is nice.

If you are craving some hot wings and a beer, this is the place to go. This sports bar has a nice covered outdoor patio with fans and TV’s. It’s a great place to hang out after playing sports or just to have a casual place to meet friends.

This Cajun inspired sports bar has a lovely outdoor patio with ample seating under shady oaks. The patio is especially beautiful in the Fall with its lush greenery and trees providing shade from the hot Texas sun.

This popular bar and restaurant feature a spacious and stylish outdoor patio area with a warm and inviting atmosphere. With lake levels up again, the view is back! If you have never been, this is a must do. It seems like the only time we go is to take out of town guests for the view. Hate to say it, but don’t go for the food…Go for drinks, snacks and the view. If you are hungry, try Oasis Brewing Company next door. Better food and same view.
Santa Catarina
500 Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park
Another Cedar Park classic. The beautiful huge patio was recently remodeled and feels more upscale. The playground was removed, but they still have a gated turf grass lawn so the kids can get some energy out. The food is not your typical Tex-Mex fare. They pride themselves in using the freshest ingredients to create unique dishes with modern interiors and coastal Mexican flavors. The also have amazing drinks! If you are looking for a nicer, upscale patio dining experience, this is the place to go!

The restaurant’s spacious patio is surrounded by lush greenery and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area perfect for dining al fresco! Festive Mexican decorations, colorful umbrellas, and string lights, creating a fun and lively ambiance. Perfect place to meet up with friends. Good for large groups.
