There are many options for Mexican food in Cedar Park. You can find anything from a roadside stand to a large chain. But, if you are looking for a quiet, quaint, locally owned, sit down and relax kind of atmosphere, Cielito Lindo Mexican Cuisine is the perfect spot. And bonus, their food is excellent! One Yelp review said, “If Soto is the Uchi of Cedar Park, Cielito Lindo is the Fonda San Miguel of Cedar Park – but better.” Now that’s a compliment! It is BYOB, so swing into Sprouts to pick up something to bring.
Foxhole Culinary Tavern

Foxhole Culinary Tavern is an unexpected gem in North Austin. This Gastropub with cool decor and great food is the perfect place to grab a drink and then have dinner. From the location, you wouldn’t expect such a warm and welcoming interior and amazing food. Definitely, a must-add to your list of date night spots close to home. Patio dining is available.
Freda’s Seafood Grille

Upscale-casual dining room, bar & patio for Southern-leaning seafood & steaks. Nice atmosphere and delicious food. They also have one of the best seafood Sunday brunch buffets. Patio dining is available.
2500 W New Hope Dr in Cedar Park
For a casual date night spot, check out The Good Lot beer garden and food truck park. They have a ton of beers on tap and sever excellent food trucks. There are lawn games and plenty of seating, in the pavilion and under the oaks. With a small playground, you can even bring the little ones and still be able to enjoy a conversation while they play. Win win.
The Grove Wine Bar

The Grove is a beautiful modern building with a cool, relaxed vibe that offers an upscale feel you wouldn’t expect in the suburbs. They have an extensive wine list and a full bar. It’s one of the best Happy Hour spots in Cedar Park too. Their happy hour food menu serves up some of their best dishes at a tantalizing price. I am still dreaming of having the scallop entree again soon. Go enjoy an evening on the patio under the light-filled trees with a glass of wine and some delicious food. Patio dining is available.

The League Kitchen and Tavern is an excellent Avery Ranch eatery offering upscale pub fare in a nice atmosphere. It’s the perfect date night spot to have a drink, relax and enjoy a casual setting with upscale, quality food offerings. They also have a delicious brunch on the weekends.

Japanese and Korean fare on an expansive menu. High backed booths add to the cozy vibe in the restaurant. It’s fairly quiet so you can actually have a conversation. The food is delicious and fresh. My favorite roll is the Popcorn Roll with fried crawfish on top.
Whip My Soul

Get your soul food fix at this family-owned soul food kitchen. Everything is made fresh and with lots of love. You can tell the passion and commitment the owner has to make delicious, soul-satisfying food. It’s craveable! Recently opened in the old Rotten Bunch location in Avery Ranch, it’s the Z Tejas you love but in a more intimate environment. Excellent cocktails and scratch made food, going back to their roots.
