Right here in Cedar Park, rain or shine, the best local Texas Farmers’ Markets are the places to go. They are open year-round and their mission is centered around hosting Central Texas producers and educating consumers to grow a sustainable food system. You can find them every weekend at the Lakeline Mall parking lot outside of the old Sears building and Muller in the central park and pavilion area.
We go every Saturday to the Lakeline location. It’s a fun routine to see and meet all the different vendors. Everyone is super friendly and once you go enough, you start building relationships with some of the vendors. My favorite is Ben at Pure Luck Dairy. Not only is the goat cheese delicious, he also keeps us up to date with adorable goat information. Lakeline is always a great time to enjoy the local farmed foods and live music. Oh, they are also dog friendly!

Muller Farmers’ Market is just as fun at the Lakeline location. They actually have been voted by Austin’ Chronicle’s best farmers’ market for 7 years in a row! So take the family and head down to Muller to help support some local Texan vendors and discover a unique neighborhood in the heart of Austin.
