The City of Cedar Park does a nice job providing a wide variety of entertainment opportunities for all ages. From concerts in the park, to movie nights to holiday festivities year round, you can find something to do in Cedar Park.
Living in Cedar Park, we get the best of both worlds. We are very close to Austin so we are able to get in on the action without having to deal with traffic on a daily basis or the higher cost of living. Although Austin definitely has many more organized events than Cedar Park, we keep pretty busy here too.
Given that Cedar Park is very family focused, the schools play a big role in hosting events. High School sports are well loved in Texas and in Cedar Park. Anyone is welcome to go watch a game or a match. Many local schools host Fall Carnivals or other seasonal festivities open to the community.
Cedar Park is also home to the beautiful Cedar Park Center, a multi-use indoor arena and home to the Texas Stars Hockey Team. Cedar Park Center is host to a wide variety of events such as concerts, plays, trade shows and exhibitions and much more.
The Cedar Park Tourism Advisory Board manages a great website called www.CedarParkFun.com where they promote tourism to Cedar Park and support local businesses. It’s a great place to learn more about what’s happening in Cedar Park and find local Cedar Park Events.
