Playground Renovations at Local Parks

Cedar Park Playgrounds

Two of the area’s beloved Cedar Park Playgrounds have recently been renovated, Anderson Mill West and Lakeline Oaks. The parks were closed briefly in October and November of 2015 to install new equipment and spruce up the grounds as Phase I of the improvement plan. Phase II is scheduled for 2016 and will include the addition of shade structures.

Two great Cedar Park Playgrounds are located at Anderson Mill West Park (at Dagama and El Salido) and Lakeline Oaks Park (at 1000 Old Mill Road), situated in areas of Cedar Park, bordering Austin, that straddle the Williamson County and Travis County lines. In 1985 the Williamson – Travis Counties Municipal Utility District #1 (WTCMUD1) was created to provide water, waste water, garbage, recycling and fire protection service to 1931 residences and businesses in both Williamson and Travis counties.

The District serves the neighborhoods of Anderson Mill West, Park Forest, Lakeline Oaks, Hunter’s Glenn, and Volente Hills as well as a few businesses bordering these areas.

There are five parks located in the District: Anderson Mill West Park, Sunchase Park, Old Mill Park, Lakeline Oaks Park and Aster Park. All of these Cedar Park Playgrounds are well maintained and popular for neighborhood families.

Both parks feature nice pavilions perfect for birthday parties and events. Both also have restrooms. For information about reserving the pavilions in Anderson Mill West Park or Lakeline Oaks or the building at Lakeline Oaks, contact Severn Trent Services at 512‐246‐0498 and press 5.
