Coming Soon to Cedar Park – 2026 Development Projects
Cedar Park Growth is expanding rapidly in 2026. Many anticipated projects have been in the works for many years and are finally coming to fruition. City City of Cedar Park along with the City’s Economic Development Council, Cedar Park Chamber of Commerce and many Boards and Commissions have been working hard to attract the right businesses to Cedar Park that will enhance the City’s commercial tax base and increase the quality of life for residents, while at the same time managing growth, keeping as much protected green space as possible.
Seeing rapid development can be unsettling for long-time residents seeing what used to be trees raised and built out. Unfortunately is hard to stop growth, especially in a developer friendly state with massive growth. Managing growth is key. Attracting the right businesses, strategically developing the land, enhancing parklands are key. As painful as development can be, Cedar Park is doing it the right way in recent years. Despite these pressures, Cedar Park’s infrastructure and economic planning are geared toward absorbing growth in a way that balances livability with opportunity. City planners emphasize upgrading utilities, enhancing walkable downtown spaces and expanding community services alongside private development.
The Bell District
The ongoing Bell District downtown redevelopment continues to gain momentum as a future mixed-use destination with retail, residential space, parks, and community gathering areas. Progress on this project reflects Cedar Park’s effort to cultivate a vibrant urban center for residents and visitors alike. The new Cedar Park Library and Bell Park are the centerpiece of this community development project. The Bell Farmers Market attracts residents every Saturday morning to the District. Also every Saturday morning residents enjoy Yoga in the Park with Flow Yoga in front of the library on the Great Lawn. There is also a nice live music series
The City of Cedar Park is positioning itself as a regional sports and recreation destination. Cedar Park Sports, recreation and ancillary businesses from camps, supplies, medical and more are becoming the heart of Cedar park’s growth.
CedarView
Quickly shaping up behind the HEB Center will be a newest major development project, CedarView, a mixed use development which will include the new Cedar Park Convention Center, a Mariott Hotel, Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM), Scheels Sporting Goods store and lots of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Scheels will be one of the first to open in this development. They are starting their hiring process in early 2026 and anticipate nearly 500 jobs!
PopStroke
Nearby on Whitestone in front of the The Alden Apartments on C-Bar Ranch Trail, now shaping up is PopStroke, a Tiger Woods inspired mini-golf entertainment venue. PopStroke Cedar Park is expected to open in 2026, adding more family-oriented recreation to the city’s offerings.
Perfect Game
Plans for a 11o-acre site at he southwest corner of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and County Road 272 (New Hope Dr) have been in the works for years. The Florida-based baseball and softball scouting company Perfect Game started the process back in 2021 when the City approved incentives to turn 110 acres at into the company’s headquarters along with a mixed-use development including 16 tournament-style baseball and softball fields, a 300-room hotel and restaurants. Perfect Game’s 15,000-square-foot office and mixed-use development is expected to generate significant economic impact and draw tournaments and visitors to Cedar Park. The project is expected to be complete by 2029.
WorldSprings
World Springs is also slated to be coming to the area near The Crossover. We visited the World Springs in Plano at The Colony. It’s going to be pretty amazing! WorldSprings is an outdoor wellness spa with soaking pools and restorative mineral waters. This project will feature 40 soaking pools with themes mineral springs from around the world and outdoor saunas. They will also offer spa treatments, luxurious locker rooms, health and wellness coaching. There will also be an onside restaurant to enjoy pool-side snacks. Construction is expected to be completed in 2026.

Spaceport
City leadership is also partnering regionally with Williamson County to participate in a Central Texas Spaceport Development Corporation, building on Cedar Park’s existing aerospace industry presence and promoting innovation-oriented infrastructure for specialized aerospace facilities.
Transportation and Infrastructure Planning
Improving transportation infrastructure has also become a priority. Cedar Park is actively seeking approximately $28 million in federal grants for key roadway projects, including widening parts of Whitestone Boulevard and conducting a Bell Boulevard corridor study that would evaluate pedestrian and streetscape enhancements.
Parks & Recreation
The City of Cedar Park, Parks & Recreation Department has been going strong in recent years with major parks improvements and enhancements to programming. Check their Events Calendar for upcoming festivities throughout the year like Movies in the Park, July 4th Celebration, Fall Round Up, Concert Series at Lakeline Park and many more. One exciting new project will be the opening of the new community arts space on Discovery Blvd, at the old Cedar Park Library building. Other 2026 improvements include upgrades to the Cedar Park Bark Park, Veterans Memorial Pool and the new Phase 2 of Lakeline Park.
The Parks & Trails Foundation of Cedar Park (PTFCP) is entering into it’s 3rd year supporting Cedar Parks City Parks, Trails and Green Spaces. Their annual Earth Day Celebration 2026 will be held on April 26, 2026 at Lakeline Park from 11am to 4 pm. This event is their kick-off to their annual capital campaign. 2025 was focused on Project Comfort, bringing more seating along the trail at Lakeline Park. They will announce the results at Earth Day. Throughout the year they also host park clean up days, an Arbor Day tree planting in the Fall and quarterly Saturday Strolls with an educational theme. Parks Connectivity & Trail Improvements
As part of the City’s Master Plan for trail connectivity, a new Pedestrian Bridge connecting Lakeline Park to the Brushy Creek Trail System. This new bridge will also welcome people to Cedar Park along Bell Blvd. The new North Fork Trail just opened in 2025 expanding the Brushy Creek Trail System. Having safe places to walk, run and ride bikes is one of the hallmarks in quality of life in Cedar Park.
Together, these developments illustrate Cedar Park’s evolution from a residential suburb into a dynamic city with diversified economic activity, destination amenities, and regional significance; trends that are likely to continue through 2026 and beyond.

New Residential Developments Coming to Cedar Park in 2026
Getting information of new residential developments always seems to fly below the radar. Since there is not much residential land left in Cedar Park, new developments tend to be smaller projects. One larger new residential development will be along Brushy Creek Road adjacent to the Walsh Hills community.
