Major League Soccer (MLS) has found its way to Austin. The city welcomes its first major professional sports team, Austin FC MLS. You can cheer for Austin FC at the newly built, state of the art Q2 Stadium located in north-central Austin at 10414 McKalla Place next to The Domain. The soccer-specific stadium opened in June of 2021 and seats approximately 20,500 fans. Situated on a 24-acre site, future plans include housing, retail, and green space in a mixed use development plan.
TICKETS
Visit Austin FC’s website to purchase single match or season tickets. A waitlist is available if season tickets are sold out.
EVENTS
The privately financed $260 million, state-of-the-art, natural grass, open-air stadium is designed as an entertainment and multipurpose event venue offers world-class facilities for sporting events and private events and special events. PARKING
Limited onsite parking is available for Austin FC MLS at the Q2 stadium so make sure to plan ahead and purchase parking in advance. Austin FC MLS has partnered with Pavemint to reserve off-site parking in surrounding parking lots and garages. To secure a parking spot for your event visit https://www.austinfc.com/stadium/parking
If you prefer to bike to the game, a free bicycle valet system will be available. Valet can be accessed on the east side of Q2 Stadium.
Note: Fan parking is not permitted in the neighborhoods east of the stadium.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Q2 stadium is conveniently located alongside Capital Metro’s Red Line commuter rail service and is a short walk from the Kramer station. Plans for a new station next to the stadium, McKalla Place, have already been approved. In addition to their typical schedule, Capital Metro operates Special Event Service to Q2 stadium for specific events listed on their website.
MetroRapid and MetroBus offer city bus connections to the stadium. These include MetroRapid route 803 and MetroBus routes 3, 383, 392, and 466.
Dedicated rideshare drop-off and pick-up points will be available for fans using rideshare services like Uber and Lyft. Attendees can be dropped off on the west side of Q2 Stadium before the games. Following the match, pick up is available on the north side of the stadium on Brockton Drive and south of the stadium on Rutland Drive.
